comBATON's first Tournament of Games will be held at McArthur High School in Hollywood, Florida on January 12th, 2008. The Tournament of Games Host is Master DeJesus of DeJesus Taekwondo in Hudson, Fl. Tickets are selling online through the comBATON website. By purchasing your tickets online, you will be able to walk right in and enjoy the pre-game entertainment. You don't want to miss the opening. There is a link on the right.
There will be a dance contest held between games and a cash prize will be awarded to the best dancer or couple. So dust off your dancing moves and get out there!
Hollywood is located in the northern Miami area and gulf beaches are nearby. A link to the reasonably priced El Palacio Sports Hotel and Conference Center is provided and there are many things to do for a family choosing to spend the weekend in this tropical paradise. Note that kids stay free at the El Palacio. Information about Miami area activities is posted on the hotel website.
Competing teams include the Port Richey Spartans of Regis Lima Martial Arts, the Hudson Tigers of DeJesus Taekwondo, the Lake Mary Samuari of DC Turnbull TKD and the Spring Hill Ninja of Brian Schneider's "Underground" TKD.
