The date of third of the trilogy of the 2008 Tournament of Games will be rescheduled for the fall. The actual date will be announced in July. The season will be capped off by a final Tournament of Games In October. More details will be announced in the newsletter to come out early next week.
This change was necessary for a number of factors. There were far more new tournaments held this year that were not announced when we planned the season. Because our players and coaches are involved with officiating tournaments as well as comBATON, everyone was out of town every weekend with no chance to rest. Also many of our players are competing in state and national compeitions and need this time to train.
We are looking to continued growth of the sport as the season finishes. The players are already planning new plays to beat the competition. Personally, I can't wait.
